Dr Karen Clarke (f)
MB BCh (Belfast 1980) MRCGP DCH DRCOG Partner since 1986. Special interests are Sports Medicine and Gynaecology. Dr Clarke is a GP Trainer with the N Ireland General Practice Training Scheme for GP Registrars.
Dr Paddy Sharkey (m)
MB BCh (Belfast 1984) MRCP MRCGP DCH DRCOG DMH Partner since 1992. Special interests are Dermatology, Cardiology and Postgraduate Medical Education. Dr Sharkey is also a GP Trainer with the N Ireland General Practice Training Scheme for GP Registrars.
Dr Mark McIvor (m)
MB BCh MRCGP DCCH DRCOG (Belfast 1990) Partner since 1998. Main interests are ENT, Paediatrics and Minor Surgery.
Dr McIvor is currently studying for a diploma in Travel Medicine and will be implementing a dedicated Travel Clinic at Carryduff Surgery in the near future
Dr Andrea Murray (f)
MB BCh MRCGP DCH DRCOG DFPlanning(Belfast 1997) Dr Murray has joined the Practice as a Partner since 1st August 2003. She was also previously a Registrar in the practice and is again known by many of the patients.
Dr Ursula Mason (f)
MB BCh BSc MRCP MRCGP DCH DRCOG (Belfast 1996) Dr Mason has been a Partner since 1st August 2003. She was previously a Registrar in the practice and so is probably well known to many of the patients.
Dr Janet Rogers (f)
MB, BCh, MRCGP, DRCOG, DCH (Belfast 1990)
Dr Rogers has joined the practice as a GP Retainer and works Thursday and Fridays.
Dr Gerry Gormley (m)
MB BCh MRCGP DRCOG DMH MD DMedEd FHEA (Belfast 1995). Dr Gormley has joined the practice and works Mondays and Wednesdays. Dr Gormley is a Senior Academic GP with the School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen’s University Belfast. He works both with the practice and the Department of General Practice at Queen’s. His specialist interests are in undergraduate medical education, primary care rheumatology and male health.
The doctors all work fulltime and are in partnership.

Maternity, contraceptive, child health surveillance, and minor surgery services are provided by the practice and we will try to facilitate our patients by providing tests of various nature at the surgery rather than referring to hospital.

We also hold regular clinics for Asthma. Diabetes, COPD (Bronchitis/Emphysema) and Smoking Cessation.

We are a GP Training Practice and benefit from the services of a fully qualified doctor in this capacity. This doctor may, at times, for training purposes, video consultations but only with the patients consent. The doctors undertake student teaching and may occasionally have medical students sitting in on consultations but again this is at the patients discretion
